Description:

This module aims to provide an understanding of the issues, theories and methods of sociology, associate social concepts with health issues, the ability to process data and apply laws in the healthcare workplace and examine the social data and scientific approaches to bioethics and relevant laws.

Understand the theories, concepts and methods of analysis used sociology to approach the issues of health and illness.
Analyze the social contexts that determine the health and health care.
Consider the impact of social stratification with respect to the standard of health and access to health services.
Understand the principles of Bioethics and Medical Ethics.
They have the ability to search and processing of data bioethical.
Understand how the study and treatment of the rules of law relating to the implementation of health policies.
Students will be able to seek and process health law rules.
Monitor the changing international developments on social data, scientific approaches to bioethics and relevant laws.
