Background and Rationale
This module aims to provide an opportunity to conduct independent legal research and to produce a legal project which utilizes appropriate research methods, critically reviews the law and literature, develops an argument and reaches appropriate conclusions.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this programme the student should be able to:
1. To demonstrate an ability to select, critique and utilise appropriate research methods.
2. Demonstrate an ability to critically analyze and evaluate a complex area of law and to reach appropriate conclusions.
3. Demonstrate an ability to produce a coherent legal dissertation, which is written and presented in accordance with relevant academic conventions.
