This course will introduce the student to the important elements of the external economy called macroeconomy. Fundamental macroeconomic variables of GDP, inflation and unemployment and the importance of distinguishing them will be taught. In addition, it will provide the student the knowledge of aggregate demand - aggregate supply model which are vital for every economist. The course also covers fiscal and monetary tools along with balance of payments and exchange rates.
