The module enhances students’ understanding of leadership within organisations. Students will explore key psychological theories underlying leadership behaviour and examine the influence of psychological, social, and cultural factors on leadership practice. The module focuses on critically evaluating psychological strategies and interventions for leadership development, analysing organisational needs, formulating solutions and assessing methodologies in strategic leadership. Additionally, students will explore the role of psychometric tests in predicting leadership behaviours and understand their own role within a team through the lens of leadership theory and management.
