Rationale

Planning is considered the pillar of any project activity, as it sets the stage for the rest of the procedural levels of project management, ensuring smooth flow of the operations and positive results. All projects, regardless of type or size, need to be keenly scheduled and adequately resourced in order to deliver the required result while adhering to time and quality constraints.  This course addresses the key steps necessary to schedule a project management life-cycle model, define the work breakdown structure and assess the planning practice. Hence, the students will discover the critical elements and principles that constitute an efficient project planning and simultaneously, gain further insight of the planning models of modern organisations.
