Human Resources: Hiring and Managing Talent in the 21st Century

This course explains the role of human resources professionals in 21st century organizations andis designed to introduce students to the importance of hiring and retaining the best people. Asorganizations plan to succeed in business, other areas of importance include: effectivelymanaging, developing, supporting, and working with employees to achieve personal andorganizational goals. A focus on an organization’s mission, vision, goals, leadership, diversityand culture will also be explored. Students will become familiar with basic concepts andmethods to hire people who will positively impact customer service and profitability.
