Programme description

The Unicaf University Doctor of Business Administration is an integrated doctorate awarded on the basis of a research dissertation (240 credits) and also incorporates a preparatory taught element (120 credits) that provides students with the necessary tools to undertake their research, appreciate current research issues in the field of Business Administration, apply their learning to business practice and assume future leadership roles in their respective institutions. It is the field of focus of the dissertation (67% of total credits), rather than that of the taught modules (33% of total credits) which imparts the name “Business Administration” to the doctoral qualification.

Entry Requirements

Doctoral Admission

The entry requirements for admission are:

  • An accredited Master’s degree in a relevant subject area.  Students may be considered for doctoral study if their degree is in an unrelated field provided they have relevant professional experience and can prove their ability to work at doctorate level.  A wide range of international qualifications may also be considered. Students are advised to contact the Office of Admissions to find out more about the range of international academic qualifications accepted.
  • Official Master’s degree transcripts

  • Research proposal
  • Copy of valid passport or national ID
